Typology
Single leaf sliding metal gate
Fire Resistance Classification
Main Features
Large-dimension sliding metal gate with a leaf made of modular elements (panels) in 0.6 mm thick steel sheet, assembled on site.
Inside, it incorporates thermal insulation materials in accordance with the tested Tria construction system. The tightness against flames and hot gases around the perimeter of the opening is ensured by a door stop made of 2 mm thick electro-galvanized steel profiles that contain intumescent seals and are fixed to the
wall and to the leaf.
Above the free passage opening, along the full length of the leaf
and along the leaf wall space length when open, a galvanized
steel tubular track is installed, equipped with sliding trolleys and
self-lubricated ball bearings.
The tubular track may be fixed to the lintel by means of lateral fixing brackets or directly to the slab by means of hangers and a top fixing plate. The closing system is based on counterweights that are activated, in the event of fire, after deactivation of the electromagnetic device that holds the leaf.
When installed in escape routes, and with the gate in closed position, passage is ensured by a hinged metal pedestrian door with a singlepoint lock, hinges and concealed door closer, and either a pair of lever handles or a lever handle and panic bar.
